FLOW

Vancouver Film School | Student Project
Unreal

FLOW is an Unreal Engine project developed for school, focused on creating binary-based logic puzzles using physical interaction. Players solve challenges by flipping switches, and configuring logic gates to allow water to flow through a system.

I designed the project around designer-friendly tools that allow puzzles to be assembled visually without requiring code changes. Logic gates, switches, and connectors are modular and configurable, enabling designers to build complex binary logic behaviors through composition rather than scripting.

The system emphasizes clarity and feedback, helping players understand how their inputs affect the logic flow and why a given configuration succeeds or fails. This made puzzles easier to iterate on and ensured consistent behavior across levels.

FLOW demonstrates my ability to design interaction-driven systems, build tools that empower non-programmers, and translate abstract logic concepts into readable and engaging gameplay.
